TVTVOnline: Your Source For the Old Vids! For now…

Filed under: Original Pilot, Season One — admin @ 10:33 am

“I love all the hype about Season Two of TVTV. But where did you put Season One?” I was being shaken awake by Ned, one of our self-proclaimed super fans. Somehow he had broken into my sleeping chamber. I assured him that TVTVS1 was not lost to the ether, but in fact remained online at our YouTube SuperStore TVTVOnline.

This seemed to placate him for a moment, until a dark cloud came over his face. “But what of the high resolution, beautiful clips I have grown so accustomed to? What can I do to satisfy my higher-def jollies?” Well, surely the arrival of a comprehensive, complete, and utterly comedic compilation of all the S1 material onto a DVD would satisfy such base urges. I bided my time, knowing that if I were to promise such a DVD I would never hear the end of it.

But, dear readers, know that such a disc is being designed right now, and will feature rare clips, things unavailable elsewhere, and audio commentary by the series creators. Until then, Ned will be at our youTube site. Comment away, oh-Neddy. And tell your friends.

Season Two of Transylvania TV is being shot at secret locations throughout the Twin Cities, and features a host of new situations, characters, and surprises. We just wrapped two major scenes of the mid-season episode “Compliance,” which pits the Vampire Le Shoc against a feisty heavy metal demon! Thanks go out to Brian Bradshaw of Bradshaw Design for helping us out with studio space, and to Rob Withoff and Alan Lloyd for supplying so much of their own gear and sweat. We also welcome to the TVTV family Gabriel R. Wimmer, who donated muscle and sinew in the construction of sets and lighting, not to mention getting his paws under a puppet — the usual initiation test!

Here’s a partial list of what to look forward to in Season Two of TVTV:

  • “Cutbacks.” In this four parter, Le Shoc looks at ways to cut costs around the castle. Somebody’s not returning to work in season two: find out who it is in this cliffhanger season opener!
  • Dwayne answers viewer question letters in a series of web shorts
  • Furry starts web-logging, and reports on the state of things behind the scenes at the castle. Look for rude references to vegetables and furtive glances at a certain monster’s “third tentacle.”
  • Furry Ackermonster goes “Radio Goo Goo” in an attempt to win tickets to the Transylvanian Rollergirls bout. From the writing team of the Brothers Gilman.
  • The classic show Twilight Zone gets FD’ed

Season Two launches July 4th, 2009. Catch episodes here, on our Facebook page, or via Apple’s iTunes!
