Dwayne Answers All in “Twisted Children”
Dwayne takes the reigns and once again answers the viewers’ questions in his inimitable and largely unrepeatable way. This time, D-Man tackles the touchy subject of whether or not puppets are for children. A subject that is close to our hearts, here lovingly rendered by TVTV Staff Writer Jim Hibbeler.August 25, 2009
Awesome Fan Art by Mouse Guard Creator David Petersen
David Petersen, the author of the New York Times Best Selling Mouse Guard (three weeks and running in the hardcover graphic novel category!), has minted this gorgeous likeness of TVTV star Furry Ackermonster. In addition, his entry for the Lose Your Intellectual Property Contest, “The Snail,” can be seen on the Goodies page. We’ll be starting an archive of the entries there for people to lay judgement upon. Here’s what David had to say about TVTV:
Gordon Smuder, who has been a supporter of Mouse Guard, is one of the minds behind Transylvania-TV, an adult-humor puppet show with online webisodes. Gordon is the performer for Furry J. Ackermonster, an albino Yeti. I love the design of the character and I think he’s my favorite on the show, so I did this fan-art for them. Right now the show is running a contest to get your own handmade puppet into one of their episodes! (I have my entry already photographed and ready to send in!)
Meantime, I’ll be trying to get David to let us put this design on a shirt straight away!
