Daryl Hrdlicka sends the wonderful “Gil Egan” for his Lose Your Intellectual Property entry. As Darly explains, “there Gil was, happily lazing about his favorite lagoon, when suddenly a ship washed up on shore. There was one survivor, he of the red shirt. Gil nursed him back to health and learned his speech and his ways, and when Red Shirt was well enough, Gil had him over for supper. Literally.”
