The comprehensive collection of TVTV on DVD is here — everything from the moment Gordon put a puppet in front of Michael’s camera is in there, including weird rarities and fun extras, like:
The original pilot as aired on Twin Cities television in 2007! Includes commentary by the show’s creators.
Bat’s Buns, Heart of a Six Year Old Girl, Le Shoc Goes Online, and Please Stand By — your season one favorites! Also with optional commentary by two geeks.
Vintage clips from the TVTV archives, including the original promo tape that played at conventions in front of two completely different geeks than the ones mentioned above.
Super secret “eester eggz” that you totally wouldn’t ever find if it wasn’t for Furry and Dwayne’s help.
Place orders now via Pay Pal, because the DVD is going at the introductory price of $12.99 plus shipping and handling.
For the benefit of those just joining us (where the hell have you been?), check out Season 1 of Transylvania Television.
TVTV Season 1 is currently hosted on our YouTube Channel, TVTVonline and is the best place to watch all our Season 1 madness until we go through the long, boring, somewhat expensive, but eventual process of loading up the videos to our own, super high quality player (assuming you’re watching it in Hi-Res, otherwise you may as well be watching the show on a Nokia cell phone. Jeez, what’s the matter with you?).
And for the benefit of people with a half hour to kill, you can watch the entirety of Season 1 right here, right now, in brand new glittery NARRATIVE ORDER!
“I love all the hype about Season Two of TVTV. But where did you put Season One?” I was being shaken awake by Ned, one of our self-proclaimed super fans. Somehow he had broken into my sleeping chamber. I assured him that TVTVS1 was not lost to the ether, but in fact remained online at our YouTube SuperStore TVTVOnline.
This seemed to placate him for a moment, until a dark cloud came over his face. “But what of the high resolution, beautiful clips I have grown so accustomed to? What can I do to satisfy my higher-def jollies?” Well, surely the arrival of a comprehensive, complete, and utterly comedic compilation of all the S1 material onto a DVD would satisfy such base urges. I bided my time, knowing that if I were to promise such a DVD I would never hear the end of it.
But, dear readers, know that such a disc is being designed right now, and will feature rare clips, things unavailable elsewhere, and audio commentary by the series creators. Until then, Ned will be at our youTube site. Comment away, oh-Neddy. And tell your friends.
While Transylvania TV is on hiatus until our Season 2 premiere in July, we thought you’d like to see the one that started it all, the original half-hour pilot episode entitled (cue the Rocky and Bullwinkle music) “Pilot” -OR- “Interview with Some Vampire.”
In part one, Batfink helps Count LeShoc understand why TVTV is in the ratings pooper.
________
Transylvania TV is a puppet comedy series about a vampire and his monster minions running an obscure television station deep in the heart of the Carpathians. If the Muppet Show, SCTV, and South Parkall got drunk at a MST3K marathon party and had a wicked threesome, their mysterious, abandoned dumspter baby would be Transylvania Television!
